We help people and
organisations thrive.
We love what we do.
We help people and organisations thrive. We love what we do.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to flourish at work. After all, most of us spend more time working than we do with the people we love, so a positive experience of work makes a huge difference to our quality of life.
However, we also understand that it’s more than being ‘nice’ to the people you employ. This stuff matters to organisations too. As the latest research highlights, organisations with the highest staff wellbeing are those that get the best (sustainable) results.
As experienced occupational psychologists, we’re here to help you implement practical solutions that bring the best out of your people. When we work together, we’ll identify and build on what’s already working well in your organisation and help you develop a culture where everyone can thrive.

We’re obsessed with idea that wellbeing and high performance are not mutually exclusive. We love seeing people thrive at work almost as much as our clients do!

Building a
positive
narrative
What does ‘work’ mean to you? For too many people, work still holds many negative connotations. That’s not too surprising when you consider the historical synonyms of the word: toil, exertion, effort, slog, drudgery, grind!
But, for most people, work is a hugely important part of a happy, healthy life. At its best, work gives us a sense of purpose, a feeling of achievement and a connection with other people. It offers opportunities to grow and develop, to care about others and to feel valued and appreciated.
With so much focus on AI and the rapidly changing nature of organisations, it’s important that we remember just what an important role work plays for us as human beings.
Now is the time to redefine what work is.

Michele
Deeks
Helping people to flourish is something Michele feels passionate about. Being a Chartered and Registered Psychologist means she has rather too many letters after her name (courtesy of the HCPC and BPS), but more importantly she has the knowledge, skills and experience to apply business psychology and positive psychology to bring the best out of people and organisations.
A founding director of Work Positive, Michele’s typically pretty busy managing projects and running the business, though sometimes she can’t resist the temptation to get directly involved in project delivery – seeing other people grow and develop is one of the best bits of the job!
